What is in it
A seven-day electronic guide covers the live channels on every plan. The player fetches it the first time you sign in and keeps it current after that.
It shows what is on now, what is next and what is coming this week, and you open a channel from the listing rather than scrolling the whole list.
Catch-up
Catch-up runs on most live channels: scroll backwards in the guide and play something that has already gone out, within the window each broadcaster allows.
Recording
TiviMate can record a programme from the listing to a USB stick or to the box's own storage, ready for when you get in.
Getting the clock right
The guide takes its time from the device clock. If a match shows at the wrong hour, the device time zone or the player's guide offset is pointing somewhere you are not.
- Set the device time zone to London.
- In TiviMate or IBO Player the guide time-shift stays at zero unless you have a reason to move it.
- On a MAG or Formuler box, set the time server to uk.pool.ntp.org.
